Copel Certifications

Copel, committed to the principles of transparency, equity, accountability and corporate responsibility, complies with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as improves its internal management and corporate governance controls.

In this sense, the company has an internal certification process that aims to certify the quality of the processes, reducing risks and expenses that would directly impact customers, investors and society.

It also seeks to secure external certifications in quality (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001), compliance (ISO 37301) and occupational health and safety (45001).

Supplier Certification

The certification processes at Copel Distribuição (Copel DIS) and Copel Geração e Transmissão (Copel GET) are verified by suppliers’ compliance with laws, contractual clauses, technical and economic-financial capacity, respect for human rights, safe and dignified working conditions, as well as proof of tax and labor regularity and environmental commitment.

Copel GET’s certification also includes structured procedures for performance evaluation, calculation, classification and audit of results.

The main objective of Copel’s supplier certification is to promote conformity and alignment of suppliers with Copel’s goals, standards, policies and values.
